The Hotel is beautifully situated in the Arravalli Hills in the village of Delware and is one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. This Hotel is a delightful example of brilliant design and innovation where the intention has been for the past to blend with the future is masterfully demonstrated. The emphasis throughout the interior spaces is a prolific use of white marble that is dramatically highlighted with colourful semi precious stone and soft furnishings.

This hotel is the choice of the likes of Luke Wilson, The Eagles, Rachel McAdams, Angela Bassett and Emily De Ravin. It has won many awards including "Best Hotel for Ambience and Design" by Conde Nast Traveller 06 and was placed on the ''Gold list'' of the same year. The Hotel is a mere 28km northeast of Udaipur and is surrounded by green lush fields and mountains on three sides and is close to the temples of Eklingji and Nagda. It is easily accessible via air either from Delhi or Mumbai and airport transfer may be booked in advance through the concierge.
The Hotel houses 39 individual suites that have been classified into the Devi Garh Suite, The Aravalli Suite, The Palace Suite and The Garden Suite. The largest suite is the Presidential Devi Garh Suite that measures some 1200sq ft and is decorated in rich golds and houses a semi private black pool, private lounging space and exquisite dining area is set out beside the pool.
The Arravalli suites are very spacious providing guests with some 720sq ft; they offer complete privacy and a wonderful view of the Arrravalli hills seen through the large bay windows or form balconies. These suites are spread over two floors the top floor housing the indulgent bedroom and bathroom whilst downstairs provides a seating area and dining area. These rooms' designs have been influenced by the famous Lotus and its image is seen in prints on the walls and floors.
The Palace Suites are each individually designed and make great use of white marble which is the canvas for semi precious stone inlay providing colour and texture that is further enhanced through the soft furnishings they measure 650sq ft and are accessed through traditional 'aangans'(courtyards).
The Garden Suites each have their own private lobby, garden and tented terrace and overlook a field of flowers. The decor in each of these suites features local green marble mirror the gardens that surround it and incorporating the outdoors inside.
All of the master bedroom house comfortable king size beds individually dressed in fine cottons and a selection of dreamy pillows. The bathrooms are oasis of indulgence where marble is artfully articulated in the deep bath tubs and vanities and surfaces, there are separate amenities for women and men and toiletries originate from Forest Essentials.
At the top of the range guests may avail themselves of a butler service. All rooms include Plasma Screen TVs, mini bar, wireless internet access, tea/coffee maker and 24 hour room service.
The Hotel is well known for its delicious culinary arts, the multi cuisine restaurant uses only the freshest of ingredients and offers both Indian and international dishes expertly prepared by master chefs, the restaurant provides breathtaking views of the Aravalli Hills framed by marble arches offering a dramatic slant to already film set spectacular.
The Hotel allows guests to dine in their suites and on their private terraces however an even more exciting alternative is provided as guests may choose varying dining venues throughout the hotel grounds to set up private tables or hold family celebrations in totally individual settings.
The Janana courtyard where a modern fountain is juxtaposed against an ancient swing, black table tops are sprinkled with flower petals and flickering candles set the scene for a romantic dinner. The lounge balcony is perfect for a family function to dine at comfortable tables decorated with fresh flowers, overlooking Delware village, whilst candles illuminate the marble pillars and reflect off the mirrored ceilings menus may be adapted to the guests wishes. The Bar at Devi Garh is a fun relaxed space, its decor showcasing vibrant Rajasthani influences seen through the soft furnishings and offers and excellent range of international wines, spirits and delightfully original concoctions produced by the master barman.
