| It is set in an isolated valley, and implanted into a rural Rajasthan and a former Maharaj camp ground two hours from Jaipur, amid palm trees and century old mango trees. Within a 30km radius can be found Ajabarth Fort and Temple which were built in 1635 and are connected by underground passageway, there is an abundance of history that surrounds this region and is easily accessible and the Hotel concierge will all arrangements for excursions. |
| The Hotel is set within a walled oasis and echoes the regions Moghul architecture and has clearly been designed for visual impact showcasing clean lines, soaring ceilings and inner courtyards. The resort comprises of a main building rises over three levels, on the first level is the arrival area that leads to the reception area and onto a shaded courtyard bordered on one side by the dining room and on the other by the Lounge. Rising from the reception is a sweeping staircase that leads to the library and outdoor terrace. |
| Two external staircases lead to the Roof terrace which is elevated above a canopy of trees and provides sweeping views over the surrounding landscape. Beyond the main building is a swimming pool, informal dining area and wading pool all set within landscaped grounds. This magnificent establishment is complimented by a talented staff who are charm personified and attend to the guests every need starting with the general manager and percolating down through the 200 hundred staff to the Hotel Dog called Mace. |
| The Hotel boasts 4 room categories. The Courtyard Haveli Rooms of which there are eight are located on the ground floor level of two, two storied structures on either side of the swimming pool. These are spacious rooms offering some 85m2 and house their own luxurious sitting rooms appointed with wonderfully comfortable sofas, the interiors feature hand woven Indian fabrics, hand carved wooden screens, delicate arched windows and cool stone floors. They are surrounded by private courtyard and terrace area that measure 50m2 offering guests indulgent privacy, a wonderful place to enjoy cocktails or take coffee in the morning with the newspaper. |
| The Terrace Haveli Rooms are located on the upper level and boast a beautiful terrace of some 80m2 which accommodates the guests own private dining area, a perfectly arranged daybed and sun loungers offer the guests wonderful relaxation. The inside accommodation provides a sitting room furnished with daybed, two armchairs, sound system, personal bar and executives writing desk. The master bedroom provides an indulgent king size bed dressed in fine linens, topped with dreamy pillows, scatter cushions and throws. The suite cleverly combines contemporary design with artistic Asian influences. |
| The most luxuriously appointed accommodations are the sixteen Pool Pavilions sited on the perimeters of the resort and offer their own private swimming pools measuring some 7mts surrounded in magnificently landscaped gardens. These suites provide guests opulent interiors allowing sitting rooms, dining areas and wonderfully comfortable master bedrooms, whose king size beds are dressed in the finest cottons, indulgent pillows, scatter cushions, colourful throws and as always these rooms offer an excellent mix of east meets West with cutting edge design, these are exceptional spaces. |
| The en suite bathrooms are out of this world and allow the sunlight to stream in making them bright at the top of the rang the bath tubs are carved out of solid pieces of Udaipur marble, providing vanities, walk in showers, complementary bathrobes, slipper and deluxe toiletries. |
| Fine dining may be found in the main dining room where beautifully prepared home style Indian cuisine and a choice of Western dishes are created under the watchful eye of the master chef, this excellent restaurant offers double height ceiling and seating may be arranged in banquet style or at tables which flow onto the outside terrace. The Poolside offers a relaxed atmosphere where informal dining is available beside the Pool, dining is outside under a colonnade and lunchtime fare includes sandwiches, salads and simple traditional Indian snacks.
